My name is Ms. Megan Michael and I have been delighted to be the general music and chorus teacher at East Pennsboro Elementary School for the past 17 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and my master's in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. However, I continue to learn and grow every day from my students and colleagues here at EPE!

 

I currently teach all K-4 music classes at EPE, one 5th grade section (Mrs. Runk), 4th Grade Chorus and 5th Grade Chorus. Besides teaching music at EPE, I also teach private piano lessons at my home and have performed in and choreographed various musical theater productions in the area.

 

Though it may seem like most of my days revolve around music, I have many other interests I make time for. Particularly, spending time with my three cats- Jelly, Theo, and Chompers, and my dog, Lucky. I'm also a dedicated runner and enjoy running the local trails. Lucky is the best running partner!

 

I look forward to continue the rest of my teaching career at EPE. It's an amazing community and I feel at home here.
