School Safety and Security Update
Sent via Blackboard at 6:30am on 9/12/24:
Good morning Panther Families,
We have been made aware of safety concerns to our neighboring school districts, and though the threats are not being directed towards EPASD, we are taking it very seriously.
Our administrative team is working closely with our local law enforcement, as our students' safety is a top priority, and we are committed to ensuring a secure learning environment for everyone. To ensure a heightened level of security, we will have an increased police presence across our district today.
We encourage you to have open conversations with your children about the importance of reporting any concerning information they may come across. If they hear anything troubling or have any concerns, please remind them to report it immediately to their teachers, school administrators, or our school police officer.
By working together and staying informed, we can maintain a safe and supportive environment. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
With Panther Pride,
Dr. Michael Robinson
EPASD Superintendent
