My name is Ms. Megan Michael and I have been delighted to be the general music and chorus teacher at East Pennsboro Elementary School since 2005. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and my master's in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. However, I continue to learn and grow every day from my students and colleagues here at EPE!

 

I currently teach all K-5 music classes at EPE, 4th Grade Chorus and 5th Grade Chorus. Besides teaching music at EPE, I also teach private piano lessons at my home and have performed in and choreographed various musical theater productions in the area.

 

When Ms. Michael is not teaching music, she enjoys being outside and being active. She loves walking her dog Lucky, riding her bike, and going on long runs. She also loves to read and listen to podcasts. Ms. Michael has 3 cats- Skittles, Mira, and Chompers. Her husband who often joins her on her outdoor activities! Ms. Michael is so thankful to be part of the East Pennsboro Community.

 

I look forward to continue the rest of my teaching career at EPE. It's an amazing community and I feel at home here.
